"Connor, a Safety Patrol at a Greenville County elementary school, has benefited greatly by being a Safety Patrol. In the past, this patrol had trouble focusing in class as well as being defiant in some ways. When he heard about safety patrols in the 4th grade he changed his behavior so he could be a candidate. Some of his teachers didn't recommend him to be one but I saw a great improvement and gave him a chance. Now in 5th grade and a safety patrol, he has had a great year. He is on time, asks to be a sub if a patrol is out, and wants desperately to help students be safe in the car line. I've noticed an improved maturity in him since becoming a safety Patrol."--Scott Shea, Greenville County Safety Patrol LeaderSharing experiences, whether heartwarming or heartbreaking, is a powerful way to touch lives.
