Upstate Cribs for Kids

Upstate Cribs for Kids is a program brought to you by Children’s Hospital Infant Apnea Program of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center and Safe Kids Upstate. The program aims to reduce the number of infant deaths due to unsafe sleeping environments.  The Cribs for Kids program is bringing free safe sleep education and portable cribs to eligible families. Babies of families who may otherwise be put at great risk of suffocation, falls, or entrapment due to the lack education about safe sleep practices and/or the inability to afford a crib.
To qualify for a free Graco Pack-n-Play, the parent/caregiver must agree to specific requirements, which include attending a safe sleep education session; referral by one of our referral partner programs listed below and allow follow up contact. These requirements are vital to the program; they allow us to evaluate our success and track the health status of the infants who receive the cribs.
